GSA Extends Release Date of 8(a) Stars II RFP
May 27, 2009 - The General Services Administration (GSA) recently provided an update on the status of the 8(a) Stars II Request for Proposal as follows:
“GSA is putting the finishing touches on the 8(a) STARS II solicitation, which it anticipates releasing in [the] near future. This additional time is being provided to facilitate interested 8(a) small businesses the opportunity to prepare. The Small Business GWAC Center appreciates the level of interest and excitement in this procurement, which it shares.”
Rainmaker has increased its number of staff dedicated to the 8(a) Stars II response and can accept two additional engagements for the GSA Stars II event. In addition, we will continue to honor the significant price reduction we offered in early May 2009 to qualified 8(a) certified comanies.
Rainmaker apologizes for limiting the number of companies for which we can provide these services. However, with the follow-up answers to the conference Q&A and pending changes to the RFP not yet posted, it is incumbent upon us to limit the number of consulting engagements into which we enter. This will allow us to react to the upcoming modifications and provide the requisite high level of service necessary to ensure the success each of our clients is seeking.
On behalf of the entire Rainmaker Stars II Team, I thank you for your time and interest in working with us. I welcome your thoughts and questions. Please give me a call or send me an email if I can provide any additional information. Laura M. Goldey Director of Global Communications Rainmaker Consulting, LLC (904) 635-6761 laura.goldey@rainmakerllc.com
