The motorsports division of Rainmaker (Rainmaker Racing) specializes in the writing, layout, design and publishing of media, marketing and promotional materials for racing series, events and teams throughout the world. From a simple event press kit to a 250-page annual program, we have the experience and resources to quickly and cost-effectively develop and produce the finest quality printed materials at a price and in a time-frame our competition cannot approach.
The professionals at Rainmaker Racing have been involved in auto, truck and marine Motorsports since 1988. We understand the business of racing from every perspective because we have either consulted with or worked directly for the five primary racing entities:
§ Racing Series/Sanctioning Bodies
§ Race Event Promoters/Producers
§ Race Teams
§ Sponsors – Racing Series, Events and Teams
§ The Media
To be a bit cliché – We’ve been there, done that and have enough T-shirts to outfit a small army. We have found that the area in which we excel happens to also be the area that is the most lacking in Motorsports – the writing and printing of series and event information and promotional materials.
Rainmaker Racing has:
§ More than 15 years of in-the-trenches professional motorsports marketing and public relations experience;
§ Produced and published 18 national, annual racing programs;
§ Represented dozens of race teams and has raised more than $2 million in team sponsorships;
§ Worked as the national public relations arm of five national racing circuits and as the official marketing firm for three;
§ Produced or promoted greater than 30 racing events;
§ Provided public relations and marketing support for race teams in more than 40 cities in 10 countries;
§ Specialized in working with teams and series that are “up and coming” like the Trans-Am Series, the SCORE Desert Series or actors Don Johnson and Curt Russell’s Offshore Professional Tour. (These series were not fully established business and marketing machines like Penske Racing or NASCAR);
§ Become experts in working with racing teams with a need to justify race expenses as a business venture rather than as a “hobby” (for tax purposes). Our marketing, documentation, sponsorship search materials and public relations materials (including media kits, press releases, etc.) have withstood the rigors of state and federal tax audits of a number of our racing clients;
§ Written more than a dozen articles for national newspapers; and
§ Written and produced 18 television productions and live radio shows.
